Let's Be Honest...

You're doing the 'work'… Read the books, listened to the podcasts, tried to “stay positive.” But something still feels stuck. It shows up as:

Emotional heaviness you can’t quite shift
Patterns keep repeating
• A quiet feeling that you’re not fully living your life

You know something needs to change, but you just don’t know how to access it. This is where that changes.

This retreat is for you if...

Your soul is calling for more — and you can feel it

Something deeper is ready to be lived.

You know there’s more to life

but it still feels just out of reach

It’s not a mindset problem

There’s a deeper level you haven’t accessed yet

You're ready to deepen your spiritual practise

and embrace your potential

Welcome to Tauhara!

This is not just a retreat. It is an immersion into the wild, where community, spirit, and land converge to help your soul immersion come alive.

Tauhara is not just a venue, it is a living sanctuary, a meeting point of spirit and nature, where every sunrise and whisper of wind calls you home to your true self. Nestled on the sacred lands overlooking Lake Taupō, Tauhara Retreat and Conference Centre offers a raw and grounding immersion into nature's embrace. Surrounded by rolling hills, native bush, and the quiet call of wild birds, this is a place where the land itself invites you to return to your essence.

Joining the "Soul Immersion" retreat at Tauhara is an invitation to strip back the noise of modern life and reconnect with the wild wisdom within. Here, under vast open skies and in the presence of ancient earth energy, you'll journey deep into self-discovery and spiritual awakening in a setting that feels both untamed and profoundly nurturing.

Whether you are seeking personal growth, answers to life's deeper questions, or simply a chance to escape the noise, our retreat in Tauhara offers a grounding and soul-stirring experience.

Join us and embark on a path of self-discovery amidst the rustic charm and wild spirit of Tauhara, where your inner mystic can truly come alive.

What is the format of the retreat?

Our retreat offers a carefully curated program of meditation, breath-work, movement, energy healing, regression, inner child, sound healing and insightful theory led by the experience of Guy and Matt.

Each day, we build upon the last as we journey inward together and gather momentum as a group. It's very common that many participants experience more spiritual growth in one week with us, than they would by themselves in a year, and sometimes in a lifetime!

We've seen it time and time again, and evidence now support this; When individuals meditate together in a group, their brain waves synchronize, creating a collective energy that can help deepen the meditation experience.

Transformative practices will help you awaken your inner wisdom, fostering deep connection, clarity, and renewal. Tauhara's rugged beauty; its rolling hills, native bush, and the timeless presence of Lake Taupō creates the perfect backdrop for this journey, inviting you to step into the raw power of nature.

What about the itinerary?

We purposely don't tell you our itinerary... what!! Really?? Yes really, and there are several benefits for this...

Enhanced Presence: Without a set schedule, you are encouraged to be fully present in the moment. This cultivates mindfulness and allows them to experience each activity and meditation without preconceived expectations, fostering a deeper connection to the retreat experience.

Surprise and Delight: The element of surprise can be invigorating. You may discover new practices, insights, or activities that you wouldn't have chosen on your own. This can lead to unexpected breakthroughsand a sense of wonder.

Deeper Self-Exploration: The uncertainty of the unknown can challenge you to step out of your comfort zone. This can lead to profound self-exploration and transformation as you confront and overcome your limitations.

Community Building: You will bond more deeply with each other as you navigate the unknown together. Shared experiences of surprise and discovery will foster a sense of community and connection.

Trusting the Process: Surrendering to the unknown will teach you the value of trust and letting go of control, which are important spiritual and personal growth lessons.

Change Your Energy, Change Your Life

At this retreat, the work moves beyond understanding and into direct experience — where something deeper begins to open. Through sound, vibration, and embodied practice, the mind softens and the nervous system begins to settle, allowing your whole system to come back into balance.

There are centres within the body that hold and organise our energy, awareness, and experience. As these begin to open and come into alignment, you may feel energy move, patterns loosen, and what has been held beneath the surface start to release — naturally, without force or effort.

This is where change stops being something you try to figure out…

and becomes something you actually experience.

What the data reveals

What participants experience

Participants consistently report profound shifts in peace, connection, awareness, and inner clarity.

Measured inner change

These shifts aren’t fleeting moments — they reflect sustained changes that continue beyond the retreat experience.

93%

of participants experienced a profound peace

+86%

felt deeply connected to something greater

Nervous system regulation

Physiological measurements taken during select retreats showed a clear shift toward balance, with reduced stress responses and increased capacity to move naturally between activation and relaxation states.

The Inner Journey from Spirit to Form

Awaken the Heart

This is not a metaphor, but a lived state long understood by mystics — where inner rhythms harmonise, intuition sharpens, and presence deepens, opening the doorway to genuine spiritual perception.

Reveal & Clear

As perception deepens, the inner landscape reveals itself. Old patterns loosen, stored energy moves, and clarity emerges — allowing the system to reset and the path forward to open.

Embody & Empower

Insight is no longer abstract — it is embodied, stabilised, and lived. Strengthening self-trust, grounding awareness, and allowing action to arise from alignment rather than effort.

Living with Soul

Living with soul is not an idea — it is Spirit felt, moved, embodied, and lived through the human form. Awareness awakens, energy clears, truth takes form, and life itself becomes the practice.

The 4 Biggest Spiritual Myths
That Stop People Before They Even Begin

1

"This is only for people who are broken."

Many people believe they should only do this kind of work when life falls apart or they're in crisis.

But that's like waiting until you're sick before deciding to look after your health.

The mind is incredibly good at finding reasons to wait: "I'm okay for now." "Maybe next year." "Things aren't bad enough yet."

This work isn't just about helping you through life's challenges—it's about expanding your capacity to experience more peace, presence, clarity and joy, long before life forces you to.

2

"I've Tried Everything."

If you've been on the personal growth path for a while, you may feel like you've already tried it all.

Books. Podcasts. Therapy. Meditation. Retreats.

But watering the leaves isn't the same as nourishing the roots.

Many approaches help us understand our patterns. This work is about helping you experience and transform them at their source.

Real change happens when what you know becomes how you live.

3

"This Is Too 'Woo-Woo'."

It's easy to imagine this kind of work is only for free spirits, hippies, or people wanting to escape reality.

The truth is, our retreats are filled with everyday people—builders, farmers, nurses, teachers, accountants, business owners, doctors and parents—all looking for the same thing: more peace, clarity and connection in their lives.

This isn't about escaping life.

It's about learning how to live it more fully.

4

"I'm Not Spiritual Enough."

You don't need years of meditation, special knowledge, or a spiritual background to benefit from this work.

Whether this is your first retreat or you've been exploring personal growth for decades, each person arrives exactly where they need to.

The greatest transformation often comes with a beginner's mind—the willingness to let go of what you think you know and be open to a new experience.

The greatest teacher isn't experience—it's curiosity and openness.

"If you're just discovering Live In Flow, it's for a reason.
I love the work Matt, Guy & Petra bring. From the podcast episodes, online meditations, course and retreats, I've been involved in them all.

For me personally, going through the 12 week course and getting to know them, then on to a 3 day retreat, it was a life changing experience. I continue to tune in to Guys podcast, and visit their 1 day workshops when I can. I can't wait to get back for another retreat Get off the fence, it's worth it!"

The Greatest Investment You'll Ever Make Is in Yourself.

Every day, we're investing in something. Our careers, our homes, our holidays, our families, and even the small comforts that help us get through the week.

Yet the one investment that influences every part of our lives is often the one we put off: ourselves.

The quality of our life is shaped by the quality of our inner world. When we change the way we relate to ourselves, everything else begins to change too.

This retreat lasts five days, but what you take home has the potential to stay with you for a lifetime.

Visitors from visa-waiver countries (like Australia and many European nations) must apply for a New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority (NZeTA) before traveling. At the same time, most non-Exempt visitors must pay the International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy (IVL) of $100 NZD. Citizens of Australia and many Pacific nations are exempt from this fee.

Your passport should be valid for at least 3 months beyond your intended departure date to New Zealand.

The closest airport to the retreat is Taupō Airport (TUO), just 15 minutes by car from Tauhara Retreat and Conference Centre.

Taupō has domestic flights only (mainly from Auckland and Wellington).

If you're flying internationally, you'll need to arrive into Auckland International Airport (AKL) or Wellington International Airport (WLG), then connect by domestic flight or drive.

From Auckland, Taupō is about a 3.5 hour drive or a short domestic flight.

Tauhara Retreat & Conference Centre is located at: 60 Acacia Heights Drive (off Mapara Road), Acacia Bay, Taupo New Zealand

By Car: Many guests rent a car in Auckland; the drive is scenic, passing through rolling farmland and volcanic landscapes.

By Air: Domestic flights connect Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch to Taupō Airport, just 15 minutes from the retreat centre.

By Bus: Buses depart from the InterCity Auckland bus stop at 102 Hobson Street and arrive at the i-SITE in Taupo at 30 Tongariro St, with the journey taking approximately 5 hours. You may book through InterCity NZ or Rome2Rio

All accommodation is intentionally modest rather than luxurious, creating a warm, down-to-earth atmosphere that fosters connection with both community and the surrounding natural environment.

No. A taxi or car is required to travel beyond Tauhara Retreat & Conference Centre. Taupō is 12km away.

Tauhara has diverse WiFi plans available for guests, starting from $2.

There is a laundry located at Tauhara Retreat & Conference Centre and is available for use by guests. Washing machine cycle is $4 NZD and dryer cycles are $2 NZD.

Yoga mats, bolsters and blocks are NOT provided by the retreat centre. You MUST bring your own mat and any props if you require them.

There are no blankets in the Main Hall. Please bring a light blanket or sarong to cover yourself at dawn and dusk as it can be a little cooler.

Mosquitos are not a major concern at Tauhara due to its cooler climate and higher elevation by Lake Taupō. That said, like most places in New Zealand during the warmer months, you may encounter the occasional mosquito or sandfly—especially in the evenings outdoors. We recommend bringing a light insect repellent for comfort, just in case.

The local currency is the New Zealand Dollar (NZD). Credit and debit cards are widely accepted across cities and towns, though it's wise to carry some cash for smaller or remote places and check with your bank prior to leaving your home country for any requirements they may have.

Daytime Temperatures: Expect pleasantly mild weather, with highs typically ranging from 20°C to 22°C (68–72°F) Evening & Night Temperatures: Nights cool down to around 9°C to 11°C (48–52°F)—bring layers for comfort Rainfall: March sees moderate rainfall—typically around 89 mm spread over about 10 days of the month Sunshine & Daylight: You'll enjoy roughly 180 hours of sunshine throughout March, with about 12 hours of daylight, though late-month cloud cover is common Humidity & UV Index: Conditions tend to be on the moderately humid side (around 78–81%), with a UV index of about 4, meaning some sun protection is wise during midday periods The end of March at Tauhara is characterized by pleasant, mild days, crisp and refreshing nights, moderate rainfall, and plenty of daylight—a perfect balance for retreat immersion in nature's embrace.

Personal comfort & peace of mind

You're not alone—many of our guests arrive solo, and Tauhara is the perfect place to feel at ease. New Zealand is one of the safest and friendliest countries in the world, and Kiwis are well known for their warm hospitality. If you're flying into Auckland or Wellington, the onward journey to Taupō is straightforward by domestic flight, shuttle, or rental car. Taupō Airport is just 15 minutes from Tauhara Retreat Centre, and we'll provide you with clear instructions and local transport options to make your arrival smooth.

As for sharing a room—remember that most people are coming with the same intention: to grow, connect, and feel supported. If you book a twin share, we'll carefully pair you with another guest of the same gender. Often, these room connections lead to lasting friendships.

PLUS... if you're not currently a member (or have been a member before), we highly recommend you take up our Inner Self Mastery membership. It's a beautiful way to connect with fellow retreat participants online beforehand, and you'll quickly realise you are not alone.

This is a wonderful opportunity to lean in, trust the process, and embrace the adventurous side of yourself.

Absolutely. New Zealand is considered one of the world's safest destinations. Even at night, most towns feel secure. Just take basic precautions, especially in remote areas.
